Well, the mid 2020s are upon us. Yeah what can I say about 2023 other than it was a difficult year. The car that I had been driving broke down for the last time, my ebay business started to fail on me, and then I had to get serious about an accumulating debt and as such had to begin therapy again to overcome past trauma from high school and previous workplaces because it's necessary for getting back into work. That being said, I do feel like 2024 is going to be a scary year. I have changes to my life that need to be made, and I will have to stay the course on making these changes happen against things that my parents may need to have happen with their house, especially knowing how my dad is unreasonable when it comes to wanting to do things himself that he's too old for. And this brings me to my resolutions for 2024, the first is that I want to become more of a fighter. I need to not be afraid to advocate for myself and argue that there are things I will need to do in order to

Rupert's Christmas Adventure is on YouTube! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yKGSTYSrgYA Hope you all have a good Christmas and a fun filled remainder of December, don't take those decorations down too early. --- WaxBadger

It's four days until Thanksgiving and I'm feeling anxious and upset about it this year, and it's largely because I don't feel like I belong with my family anymore. My dad just can't stop acting like a child and he is always all or nothing about doing things his way when it comes to getting things done, and then my mom is uptight about making sure everyone but herself and my dad and I are pleased especially when it comes to cooking for my vegan brother and his family, and I'm very tempted into throwing a Peppermint Patty tantrum in front of my nieces at dinner if that fake chicken casserole my mom is making just doesn't do it for me. And I swear to God if my dad makes a shitty joke about my imperfections out of nowhere at Thanksgiving dinner I'll just want to smack him, I'm just so over it. It's hard enough that his refusal to be mature about anything makes me afraid to see my mom die before him, because if that happens he'll make me do everything for him and treat me like I'm worse
